Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day running, engage with customers, and work toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship while you earn.

Starting 26/10/2026, with contracted hours Mon-Fri 08:30-17:30 and Sat 09:00-17:00, you’ll receive full training and ongoing support to deliver safe, efficient service and gain a nationally recognised qualification.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent; maths/english desired but not essential as training provided.
• Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship is provided as part of the course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Help with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
