Job summary
I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Tamworth is looking for a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. Earn while you learn by working toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.
You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your role with full training and support. Duties include assisting customers at the medicines counter, helping with prescriptions under supervision, handling stock, and using pharmacy systems to process sales.
Qualifications
- GCSEs in Maths and English desirable or equivalent
- No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided
- Commitment to blended learning during apprenticeship
Responsibilities
- Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries
- Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
- Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records
- Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
- Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service
