Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is offering an apprenticeship as a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in the United Kingdom. You will support daily pharmacy operations, assist with prescriptions under supervision and gain hands-on experience while completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Training is provided alongside your role, with a typical duration of about 15 months. Applicants should have basic IT skills and a genuine interest in healthcare and helping people.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as training provided.
• No previous pharmacy experience is required; full training provided.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision).
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
