Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily operations, help customers at the counters and work with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, efficient service.

You will study a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. This is a great entry point into pharmacy with real responsibilities and career progression.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English preferred.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a team.
• Willing to commit to apprenticeship alongside duties.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
