Job summary

Day Lewis Woodley is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join a busy, high-volume community pharmacy in Woodley, Reading. The role offers hands-on experience, full training, and progression opportunities under the co-owner Pharmacist Manager.

You'll work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm, with a 60-minute lunch break, in a role focused on safe dispensing, NHS and private services, and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Proven or developing customer service skills.
• Ability to stay organised in a busy environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
• Support the Pharmacist Manager and wider team with daily pharmacy operations.
• Provide excellent customer service at the counter and over the phone.
• Support NHS and private pharmacy services.
• Build relationships with patients, GP surgeries, and local healthcare professionals.
• Maintain high standards of organisation, professionalism and compliance.
• Contribute to a busy team focused on outstanding patient care.

The Role
