Job summary

Day Lewis Pharmacy in Reigate is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to support the Pharmacist Manager and help deliver excellent patient care. The role is 25 hours per week, including alternate Saturdays, with shifts 10:00–16:00 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 9:00–13:00 on alternate Saturdays.

You will join a small, friendly, family-owned team and participate in front-counter duties, retail management, and building relationships with patients and healthcare organisations.

Qualifications

• Induction training is provided by Day Lewis.
• Depending on previous pharmacy experience, a pharmacy assistant course may be required (3–6 months).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist Manager to deliver superb customer service and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Assist on the front counter and greet patients warmly.
• Support retail operations and merchandise management.
• Be an integral part of a small, hardworking team.
• Develop relationships with patients and healthcare organisations to improve service.
• Work effectively in a team-oriented, family-owned environment.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support at Pharmacy Assistant level is vital to the team in the provision of advanced and enhanced services.

• Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the pharmacy delivers a superb level of customer service and operates effectively with regards to company policies and procedures.
