Job summary

Day Lewis Pharmacy in Hastings is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join Mount Pleasant team. This 20 hours/week role includes alternate Saturdays and offers a pathway into Medicine and Clinical Care with induction training.

You will support the Pharmacist, aid on the front counter, build relationships with patients and healthcare organisations, and be part of a small, hardworking team committed to excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting Pharmacist and delivering patient-focused service.
• Ability to support pharmacy operations and customer interactions.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business and ensuring excellent customer service at the dispensary.
• Assist on the front counter and warmly welcome patients.
• Be a part of a small, hardworking team focused on patient care.
• Develop relationships with patients and healthcare organisations for effective service.

The first stage of this career path at Pharmacy Assistant level is settlinginto our team and completing the Day Lewis Induction training. Then depending on previous pharmacy experience you may need to complete a pharmacy assistant course which can take between3-6 months.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support at Pharmacy Assistant level is vital to the team in the provision of advanced and enhanced services.

• Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary delivers a superb level of customer service and operates effectively with regards to company policies and procedures.
• Assist on the front counter and be a great welcome and support to patients.
• You will be an integral part of a small, hard-working and compact team.
• Developing relationships with patients and healthcare organisations to ensure that we deliver the most effective and patient friendly customer service.
