We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistantto join ourPharmacyteam atHMP Lewes name, acategoryB/CPrison located in Sussex.

HMP Lewes is a male prison that has a capacity for 742 inmates and are recruiting for a Pharmacy Assistant to support with duties such as Labelling, stock taking, checking, collections etc.

Monday - Friday

0800 - 1600

Salary

This position is Part Time,you’ll receive an annual salary up to £28,690per annumFTE- depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Complete general dispensary duties and stock management
• Be working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to ensure delivery of the pharmaceutical service
• Provide a timely and efficient service to the prison wings
• Receive prescriptions and stick returns from wing based clinical areas
• Collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of return
• Participate in dispensing of prescriptions.
