Job summary

Weldricks Pharmacy is expanding its Thorne Finkle Street Branch and inviting applications for Pharmacy Assistants. The role covers 15 hours permanent and 9 temporary hours to cover maternity leave, with training provided and clear pathways to supervisor or technician roles. Weldricks Pharmacy have an opportunity for customer focussed individuals to join our growing team of Pharmacy Assistants at our Thorne Finkle Street Branch working Monday 09:00 - 17:30, Tuesday 09:00 - 16:30 with 30 minutesfor lunch (Permanent) Wednesday 09:00 - 17:30 with 30 minutes for lunch and 1 in 4 Saturdays 09:00 - 13:00 which are temporary to cover maternity leave.

This position is for 15 hours permanent and 9 temporary to cover maternity leave.

What will you be doing?

Our Pharmacy Assistants are key in ensuring that Weldricks Pharmacy provide customers and patients with the highest quality care and advice within the communities our branches operate.

Joining our team, we’ll show you how to provide a high standard of customer care to maximise sales and increase items dispensed, whilst maintaining good stock control and merchandising. When required, you will assist in the dispensing of prescriptions, under professional supervision, providing a first class level of service to our loyal customers and patients.

Full training will be provided, and we’ll show you what it takes to excel as a Pharmacy Assistant. You will already have the following qualities:
