Job summary

Meanwood Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant/Counter Assistant to join our welcoming team and deliver excellent service to our local community. You’ll be the first point of contact, greet customers, advise on medicines, process transactions, and support the team with daily tasks in a friendly, professional environment.

This role offers training, includes Saturdays, and requires a positive attitude, reliability, and good communication.

Qualifications

• A positive, approachable manner and genuine desire to help people.
• Strong communication and active listening to customer needs.
• Reliable, organised with good attention to detail.
• Ability to work well as part of a close-knit team.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service or a pharmacy setting is welcome, but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Willingness to complete the Medicines Counter Assistant course if not already qualified.
• Flexibility, as this role does include Saturdays.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all relevant policies and procedures
