The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day.

Providing health advice through focused conversations and delivering accurate answers.

Your duties will include:

  1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
  3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards in Boots.
  4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
  5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.

What you’ll need to have.

You should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required; if not completed, training will be provided within 6 months.

We support your professional development towards NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services, enabling registration with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role. Your pay and benefits will reflect your qualifications and roles as you progress.
