Job summary

UBC seeks a Project Manager for Pharmacovigilance to lead PV projects, drive timelines and budgets, and serve as main client contact. The role covers start-up to close-out, with cross-functional coordination and governance to ensure quality and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring PV regulatory knowledge, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities, with flexibility for global project priorities and travel to UBC locations and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years direct PM experience at a CRO or pharmaceutical company and/or 4 years of PV experience.
• Knowledge of global and local PV regulations and legislation is preferred.
• Strong project management, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to document, track and resolve project action items for multiple programs.
• Experience with Argus or other industry standard safety databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage PV projects to meet contracted scope, budgets and timelines.
• Serve as the client’s primary contact for project communication.
• Lead internal and client teleconferences and meetings.
• Develop project timelines and management deliverables.
• Prepare project management plans and KPI reports.
• Support EU QPPV activities and audits as needed.
• Oversee CAPAs and ensure timely closure of issues.
• Track and report project performance and profitability.
