Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is seeking a part-time Drug Discovery SME to help build and evaluate AI models for pharmacology and related assays. The role involves guiding research and engineering teams, designing non-searchable tasks and benchmarks, and ensuring data quality across AI-driven drug discovery projects.

You will work up to 20 hours per week, collaborating with expert teams to ensure scientific and analytical rigor while shaping model outputs and training data for advanced AI models.

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmacology or related field, or equivalent research experience.
• 3+ years in early-to-mid stage drug discovery, pharmacology, DMPK/ADME or toxicology.
• Experience analyzing in vitro ADME, PK/PD data and CRO readouts.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in pharmacology, ADME/Tox, and PK/PD.
• Design benchmarks and training data for drug discovery tasks.
• Evaluate AI model outputs and diagnose errors in logic, data quality and tool usage.
• Develop specifications, rubrics and verification processes for drug discovery data.
• Advise on assay design and biological validity of model outputs.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure data accuracy.
