A leading pharmacy chain in Northern Ireland is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to oversee the effective operation of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulations and maximizing profitability. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Pharmacist with strong leadership skills and experience in managing pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Pharmacist registered in Northern Ireland.
• Experience in team leadership and management is ideal.
• Completion of NICPLD/HSCB courses for service delivery is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of the pharmacy for dispensing and services.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage pharmacy operations.
• Advise public on minor ailments and conduct medicine reviews.
• Review GP orders, identify errors, and prepare medications.

Overview

Evolve are partnering with a leading pharmacy chain in Northern Ireland who are seeking a Pharmacist Manager to join their team. You will ensure the effective and efficient operation of the pharmacy to maximise dispensing and services, OTC sales and profitability. You will also ensure that all staff comply with statutory and professional obligations.

Salary

From £38,000 + pa DOE

Ideal Requirements

• Applicants must be a qualified Pharmacist registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.
• Ideally experienced in team leadership and management
• Completion of any NICPLD/HSCB courses which are compulsory components for delivery service (e.g. PMR)

Role Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines per regulations and contracts
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage pharmacy operations
• Advise the public on minor ailments and conduct medicine reviews
• Review GP orders, identify errors, and prepare medications (compounding, packaging, labelling)
