Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy on Highfield Road, Blackpool.

This community pharmacy is located on a busy high street and has recently experienced significant growth.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• Dispenses 2000 items a week
• Provides a wide range of services including NMS, Hypertension with own ABPM machine, Pharmacy First, contraception, flu and COVID vaccinations, with future private service opportunities
• Serves 20 substance misuse patients
• Dispenses 120 community blisters

Operating hours are 8.30 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am - 1 pm on Saturday. The successful candidate will need to work alternate Saturdays and either 4 or 5 days a week. The team includes:

2 pharmacy assistants, 2 pharmacy technicians, 1 ACT, 1 trainee technician. The team is highly capable and longstanding, with no trainees or unqualified staff.

The Ideal Candidate

The candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and have management experience. You should be focused on leading your team to deliver excellent community pharmacy services and have your GPhC registration upon start date.
