Job summary

Morrisons Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacist to join our store team and provide essential care, advice and prescriptions to the local community. Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will lead in their absence and ensure safety, legality and smooth operation.

You will prepare and check prescriptions, dispense medicines accurately, and work with dispensers and technicians to maintain high standards of patient care. A warm, hands-on approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Pharmacy degree and active membership with the GPhC.
• Excellent communication with patients, store colleagues and local GP surgeries.
• Hands-on approach to running the pharmacy and resolving queries while maintaining standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver our pharmacy strategy by offering compassionate advice, expert care and healthcare services to customers.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming environment across all duties.
• Prepare and check prescriptions and dispense medicines safely with correct dosages.
• Ensure compliance with legal rules, SOPs and data security requirements.
• Collaborate with dispensers and accuracy checking technicians and guide their development.
