Job summary

Pharmacierge are redefining private pharmacy in the UK and seek a Pharmacist on the Harley Street area in London. You will lead a team, ensure safe dispensing, and provide expert clinical advice to patients and prescribers.

The role requires GPhC registration, an MPharm, and typically at least two years post-registration experience. Full-time in-person work, weekend rotation, with visa restrictions noted.

Qualifications

• Current GPhC registration is required.
• MPharm degree (or equivalent) is essential.
• Minimum two years post-registration experience preferred.
• Newly qualified pharmacists will be considered with strong patient-care commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pharmacy team to ensure efficient dispensing and a positive team culture.
• Provide patient-centered care with clinical checks and counselling on medications.
• Support prescribers and other health professionals with drug interactions and dosing guidance.
• Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, UK regulations and internal procedures.
• Engage in continuous professional development and keep up to date with pharmacy advancements.

We are currently recruiting for both full-time and part-time in-person roles. Remote work is not available at this time.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership
  • Collaborate with a team of Pharmacists to facilitate efficient medication dispensing
  • Foster a positive and cooperative team atmosphere
  • Assist in mentoring junior staff and trainees, helping them develop skills and confidence
  • Promptly and accurately address queries from the Pharmacy Team
• Patient Care
  • Perform Clinical Checks and verify that prescriptions comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate the suitability of prescriptions and dispensed medications, providing patient-centred care
  • Conduct final accuracy checks on dispensed medications
  • Deliver comprehensive counselling on medication use, potential side effects, and adherence
• Prescriber & Healthcare Professional Support
  • Respond to medical inquiries from prescribers and healthcare professionals
  • Provide guidance on drug interactions, dosing, and optimal prescribing practices
• Regulatory Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure adherence to GPhC standards, UK regulations, and internal procedures
  • Maintain patient safety protocols throughout all pharmacy operations
• Professional Development & Continuous Learning
  • Remain up to date on advancements in pharmacy and health

Essential Requirements

• Must have a current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Must have a qualification as a Pharmacist (MPharm degree or equivalent)
• Ideally will have a minimum of two years post-registration experience.
• Newly qualified pharmacists who demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care will be considered
• Foundation Pharmacists who have completed their training and are awaiting GPhC registration will be considered, but should make their registration status clear in their application/cover letter.

The Pharmacist role is a full-time position that involves working 40 hours each week, including weekends.

While we welcome applications for part-time roles, please note that full time remote work is currently not an option.
