Job summary

Well Pharmacy Wishaw is looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Wishaw. This community pharmacy on Wishaw Main Street is commutable from Glasgow, with a good relationship to the GP surgery and health centre, and the team is supported by an Area Operations Manager.

We dispense around 1500 items a week and offer Pharmacy First, NHS and private services, with 30 substance misuse patients and 140 community blisters.

Qualifications

• MPharm degree and GPhC registration required.
• Management experience is desirable but not essential.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Wishaw.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Glasgow and is located on the main street in Wishaw and it has a good relationship with the GP surgery/health centre.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

• It dispenses 1500 items a week.
• It provides a wide range of services including Pharmacy First, NHS & private services.
• It provides services to 30 substance misuse patients and it dispenses 140 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 8:30am-6pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm Saturday. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of one team manager, two full time colleagues and two part time colleagues.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.
