Rowlands Pharmacy (Phoenix Medical Supplies) in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist with community pharmacy experience to join our busy Kingston Crescent branch. You will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimise patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with GPhC in good standing.
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

Job title: Pharmacist (Experience required)
Branch Address: 92 Kingston Crescent, Portsmouth, PO2 8AL
Salary: Competitive rates
Working Hours: Average of 40.25 hours per week

• Week 1 and 3: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 (42.5 hours per week)
• Week 2 and 4: Tuesday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 plus Saturday 09:00 - 13:00 (38 hours per week)

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Kingston Crescent Branch. As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. If you are passionate about improving the well being of individuals in your community and eager to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, we want to hear from you.

This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a non-pharm manager providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting next to a surgery. Currently dispensing around 8,000 items per month, this is a relatively busy branch. As well as providing a variety of services, such as NMS, Weight management, Flu and Covid Vaccinations, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

The branch uses ProScript system.
