Rowlands Pharmacy in Kingston Crescent, Portsmouth is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our busy branch. You will dispense prescriptions accurately, provide patient counselling, and work with doctors and nurses to optimise care in a community setting.

Experience in community pharmacy is essential, with excellent communication skills and a flexible, team-oriented approach. The role includes immunisation services, and the branch uses ProScript software to serve patients efficiently.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.

Week 1 and 3: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 (42.5 hours per week)

Week 2 and 4: Tuesday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 plus Saturday 09:00 - 13:00 (38 hours per week)Are you a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the healthcare industry?

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Kingston Crescent Branch. As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a non-pharm managerproviding an excellent service to the local community from their setting next to a surgery. Currently dispensing around 8,000 items per month, this is a relatively busybranch. As well as providing a variety of services, such as NMS, Weight management Flu and Covid Vaccinations, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

The branch uses ProScript system.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
• Provide immunization services (where applicable)
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives
