Job summary

Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is seeking a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council with proven post-qualification experience. Oncology knowledge is essential, ideally with BOPA accreditation, to lead medicines management and deliver high-quality clinical care across departments.

You will join our multidisciplinary team and provide services to pre-assessment, outpatient, ward and theatre settings, contributing to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• GPharmacist registered with General Pharmaceutical Council
• Post-qualification experience required
• Oncology experience essential (ideally BOPA accredited)

Job description

As a Pharmacist at our Derby Hospital, you'll be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and you'll have proven post-qualification experience. It's also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you'll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff. Oncology experience is essential (ideally BOPA accredited) As a Pharmacist, you will:

• Join our talented multidisciplinary team
• Be the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospital
• Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where it's needed
• Offer services to a range of departments, including the pre-assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatres
• Ideally have experience with chemotherapy, but not essential
