Job summary

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking an Oncology Pharmacist to join our team. You will be responsible for supervising the procurement, dispensing and supply of medicines to patients and delivering high-quality clinical care and advice as part of our multidisciplinary team at Guildford Hospital.

You must be registered with the GPhC and have proven post-qualification experience, with strong communication and people skills to work closely with patients and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Post-qualification experience is required.
• Excellent communication and people skills are essential.

Responsibilities

It’s also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you’ll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff.

As a Oncology Pharmacist, you will:

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions and offer a wide range of complex surgery and services. Our care is matron led and we are proud to have received a "good" rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our facilities include 51 en‑suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We’ve been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.

The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
