Job summary

Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and develop our pharmacy services within the private hospital. You will provide both operational and clinical leadership for the department, ensuring safe, effective medicines management across the hospital.

You will lead the pharmacy team, oversee governance, procurement, budgeting and compliance with GPhC standards, working with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to drive service improvement.

Pharmacy Manager, Derby Hospital

Pharmacy Manager Derby Hospital | Pharmacy | Permanent contract | Full time | Competitive Salary depending on skills and experience. 37.5 hours per week. A rare, new and exciting opportunity has arisen at our Nuffield Health Derby Hospital where we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pharmacy Manager to lead and develop our pharmacy services within our private hospital.

As Pharmacy Manager, you’ll provide both operational and clinical leadership for the pharmacy department, ensuring safe, effective and patient-centred medicines management across the hospital. You will lead a team, manage medicines governance, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. You’ll have previous hospital Pharmacy Manager experience as a Pharmacist or Technician, and strong leadership and management capabilities, and you will be highly organised, analytical and have the ability to drive service improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
