Rowlands Pharmacy in Holyhead is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The branch operates in a community-focused setting, dispensing around 13,000 items per month and utilizing Medipac robotic distribution technology to free up time for patient care.

The role offers an Independent Prescriber supplement of £3.80 per hour, a relocation package up to £8,000, generous holiday (33 days, pro rata, rising with service), and performance-related bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends.
• Flexible and positive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services where applicable.
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.30 and 1 in 2 Saturdays 09.00 - 13.00 (Some flexibility available)

This branch is staffed with an experienced team of 7 including an ACPT Pharmacy Manager and 6 Healthcare Partners providing an excellent service to the local community setting in a beautiful north Wales port town.Currently dispensing around 13,000 items per month and growing, this is a busy branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.
