About the role

As a Pharmacist with us, you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care. It’s more than dispensing medicine; it’s listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice
  2. Being accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
  3. Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
  4. Conducting continual review through audits, observations, and risk assessments to ensure customer and patient safety
  5. Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services
What you’ll need to have

To be successful, you should have a professional, caring character and a genuine desire to help us improve. Additionally, you will:

  1. Be registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
  2. Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers, and external professionals
  3. Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers
  4. Be collaborative with a team-centered approach
  5. Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and the provision of national and local services
  6. Be a great communicator; able to put people at ease and meet the varied needs of customers and patients
