Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking a Production Operator to join the Pharmaceutical Production Unit in Stockport. The role involves working in aseptic, sterile, and non-sterile production within a clean-room environment, wearing appropriate PPE and following GMP standards.
Ideal candidates will have good communication, concentration, and the ability to follow detailed procedures. Training will be provided, and a flexible approach to duties is expected in a busy team.
A Production Operator is required to carry out a range of duties as part of a busy team within the Pharmaceutical Production Unit.This caninclude the Aseptic, Sterile and Non-Sterile productionunits.All work is performed in a 'clean-room' environment, which requires changing into and working in specialised clothing and some confirmed areas.,
Previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. Experience of repetitive work, manual dexterity and using mechanical / electrical equipment is essential. Please be aware that this post involves no patient contact. You must possess good communication skills, be, committed, and work well within a team. You must be flexible in approach to duties, prepared to work reasonable extended hours if needed and capable of physical effort in order to move heavy boxes and equipment.
