Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced VNA Driver for a pharmaceutical storage and distribution site in Birmingham. This full-time role operates a rotating shift pattern from 06:00 to 14:00, 15:00 to 23:00, or 22:00 to 06:00, with hourly pay depending on shift.

You will operate a Very Narrow Aisle truck safely, put away inbound stock, replenish picking locations, and pick orders using RF scanners, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid and accredited VNA licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
• Experience operating a VNA truck within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced logistics operation.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a VNA truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Put away inbound stock into designated locations.
• Replenish picking locations to ensure efficiency.
• Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Carry out stock movements, inventory checks, and cycle counts.
• Ensure products are handled to pharmaceutical quality standards.
• Report damaged stock, shortages, or discrepancies promptly.
