Job summary

Almac Group in Charnwood, UK, is seeking a Stores Senior Operator Grade 2 to join our Pharma Services warehouse team. The role covers receipt, storage, transfer and dispatch of active pharmaceutical ingredients and related materials in a regulated, computerised environment.

You will ensure stock accuracy, operate HGVs for local inter-site work, and guide junior staff while adhering to GMP/GDP and safety standards; full HGV training is provided.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to obtain HGV licence within 12 months.
• Experience in warehouse/logistics environments.
• Experience in regulated environments and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliant receipt, storage, issue, transfer and dispatch of pharmaceutical materials.
• Complete warehouse and inventory transactions using WMS/ERP.
• Maintain material traceability and appropriate storage conditions.
• Operate HGVs for local deliveries and document transport activity.
• Operate forklift trucks following safety procedures.
• Guide and train Warehouse Operators and support shift handovers.
• Identify improvements across warehouse and logistics processes.
