Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Sample Co-Ordinator for our site in Slough. You will help ensure accurate handling, storage and distribution of reagents and samples to support pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.

This is a fully on-site role with Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–18:30, requiring close collaboration with scientific and operational teams to maintain GMP-compliant records and traceability. You will organise shipments, maintain inventory, support QA with batch documentation and help uphold

Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment is beneficial.
• Good understanding of GMP and accurate record-keeping.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Good computer skills and experience with laboratory sample management systems such as LIMS.
• Clear written and verbal communication across teams.
• A relevant scientific degree is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, storage, tracking and distribution of reagents and samples across three site buildings.
• Organise outgoing sample and reagent shipments to ensure on-time delivery to shipping.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct stock checks and monitor consumables.
• Prepare and manage reagent stocks, including labeling and storage.
• Perform routine checks of cold storage facilities to ensure proper conditions.
• Support sample disposal activities with QA and process batch documentation.
• Collaborate with scientists and operations to maintain traceability and GMP/data integrity.
