Job summary

Organon LLC is hiring a Project Engineer to join our manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. You will support a portfolio of capital projects from concept through commissioning and validation in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, GMP compliance, stakeholder engagement, and strong vendor management to deliver site development and equipment replacement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record delivering projects within regulated industries (pharma, FMCG).
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with GMP compliance and validation processes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and contractor supervision abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP) desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of the project team delivering capital projects.
• Contribute to business case development, vendor selection, and project design.
• Define project scope and collaborate with engineering partners on detailed design.
• Deliver accurate cost estimates and manage budgets for assigned work packages.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and engineering standards.
• Support construction, equipment installation, and commissioning activities.
• Lead change control processes and documentation.
• Work autonomously while contributing to a high-performing, cross-functional team.
