Job summary

Artemis Clarke Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer for a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Sandwich, Kent. The role focuses on delivering new equipment and technology through the site capital projects program while ensuring GMP compliance and process safety across operations.

You will lead or support projects from concept through commissioning, write validation protocols, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with validation and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of process safety and regulatory standards.
• Ability to specify equipment and work with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support to manufacturing operations.
• Lead or participate in capital project delivery from concept to commissioning.
• Define validation requirements and assess protocols and start-up activities.
• Conduct safety reviews including HAZOP/LOPA and What-If analyses.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and corporate standards.
