Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Belfast, at the Mallusk plant, seeks a Print Assistant to join the Lithographic Printing team in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will help ensure safe, efficient operation of printing presses, support production targets, and maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality.

Opportunities for progression include senior operator or team leadership roles within the production team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience delivering high quality work.
• Experience as a Print Assistant or Machine Operator is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Lithographic Printing team to ensure safe, efficient operation of presses.
• Provide production materials to printers per schedule to maximise uptime.
• Wash up and clean equipment for production readiness.
• Transport work between departments as required.
• Maintain housekeeping and health & safety standards in production.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
• Support maintenance activities per the planned schedule.
