AstraZeneca Macclesfield is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day production, ensuring safety, quality and GMP compliance in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

You will coordinate short-term production activities, work with Process Leaders, Quality Assurance and support teams to keep production on track, coach colleagues, drive continuous improvement and support lean initiatives across the PET & manufacturing site.

Formación

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience in aseptic or clean-area production.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to make effective decisions and support teams in delivering challenging production schedules.
• Good operational knowledge of manufacturing procedures and compliance requirements.
• Experience working in an aseptic processing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate short-term production and resource planning, working collaboratively with PET Circle Leaders and operating teams.
• Support the delivery of production schedules while maintaining SHE and GMP standards.
• Carry out production readiness checks to ensure resources and documentation are in place.
• Help maintain an inspection-ready manufacturing environment.
• Use production knowledge to resolve operational issues with QA and support teams.
• Complete and approve GMP and batch documentation to support batch release.
• Raise and investigate Quality Notifications and follow procedures.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency and delivery.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
• Coach and support operating teams through on-the-job training.
• Provide feedback to Process Leaders and colleagues.
• Work flexibly across the PET to support resourcing and production delivery.
• Support asset care and maintenance activities, including Safe Systems of Work and SAP notifications.
