Job summary

Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the UK. You will maintain, repair, and optimise electrical and mechanical equipment across the production cycle to ensure safe, reliable operation.

You should hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, have proven maintenance experience in a highly regulated environment, and be comfortable working in potentially ATEX areas with COMPEX certification.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in engineering (mechanical or electrical).
• Proven maintenance experience in a highly regulated environment.
• Good knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• COMPEX certification; ATEX experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-skilled maintenance support to ensure machinery reliability.
• Install, commission, maintain and modify electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot reactive repairs and develop preventative maintenance plans.
• Develop cost-effective solutions to improve performance and reduce downtime.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure safe operations.
