Job summary

UPS-Birmingham seeks a Multi Drop Van Driver based at Polar Speed Distribution Ltd, Birmingham. 40 hours weekly, start 06:30, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime to meet urgent medical needs. Deliveries to GP surgeries, pharmacies, hospitals and patients, maintaining cold-chain and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years driving experience.
• Hold a B category driving licence with ideally 0–3 points.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with customers while maintaining confidentiality.
• Good organisation and prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Check and scan all consignments.
• Complete daily safety checks of vehicle and refrigeration unit.
• Deliver consignments on time while keeping within temperature range.
• Record deliveries electronically and complete driver manifests.
• Maintain daily communications to provide service updates.
• Demonstrate professional and safe driving at all times.
• Present a smart working appearance at all times.
