The post is a one-year fixed-term contract based at Great Western Hospital Swindon (GWH). It offers a unique opportunity for trainees interested in education, with 50% in Acute Medicine and 50% in Postgraduate Medical Education. The role includes involvement in simulation activities.
This position is suitable for a ST3 - ST4 level doctor, such as those seeking further training in medical education as part of an Out of Programme Experience (OOPE). There is also an opportunity to undertake a PG Certification in Clinical Education.

Qualifications (Essential): GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice, eligibility for ST3-ST4.
Qualifications (Desirable): Postgraduate courses in medical education.
Experience (Essential): Experience with ARCP, NHS acute medicine, e-portfolios, QI, teaching postgraduate doctors.
Knowledge (Essential): Sound clinical knowledge, initial management of acutely ill patients, IT skills, attention to detail, interest in medical education.
