Job summary

Aspire People is seeking passionate SEN tutors to deliver Preparation for Life (PFL) sessions in Birmingham. Join our agency team supporting students aged 16-25 with complex needs in SEN schools, including those with Autism, SEMH challenges and associated behavioural difficulties.

Roles are available across Harborne with potential permanent placements. QTS with SEMH experience, strong behaviour management and safeguarding commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS required with SEMH classroom experience.
• Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour and support emotional regulation.
• Experience teaching students aged 11-16 with SEND.
• Flexible, resilient approach with safeguarding commitment.
• Ability to create nurturing classrooms where every student thrives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised PFL sessions to young people aged 16-25.
• Support EHCP outcomes and monitor learner progress.
• Promote positive learning outcomes and independence.
• Deliver sessions one-to-one or in small groups as needed.
