Job summary

Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Estates and Facilities professional to lead the PFI management function across multiple sites. The role focuses on contract performance, financial control and compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.

You will collaborate with PFI Partners and internal stakeholders to assure value for money, governance, and continuous improvement while supporting assurance processes and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing PFI contracts and performance across estates services.
• Ability to monitor KPIs, financial deductions, and contractual compliance.
• Stakeholder liaison with partners, suppliers and NHS trusts.

Responsibilities

• Support management of the PFI contract to ensure compliant, high-quality FM services and value for money.
• Monitor contractor performance, service standards and contractual obligations across Hard and Soft FM.
• Develop, implement and maintain performance monitoring systems and KPIs for FM services.
• Represent the Trust at PFI contract meetings and ensure alignment with governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, NHS guidance and Trust policies across full FM scope.
