Job summary

Electrical Technician - Teesside is required for a bulk liquid storage provider. The role involves managing electrical maintenance tasks, conducting isolations with certificate issuance, and supporting plant operations to optimise performance.

The candidate should have 5+ years in petrochemical/chemical environments, COMPEX 01-04, and BS7671 18th Edition. On-call availability and heights safety are needed; HV awareness and PASMA/ asbestos awareness are desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in petrochemical/chemical industry.
• COMPEX 01-04 certified.
• BS7671 (18th Edition) knowledge.
• Safety instrumented system awareness.
• Working at heights.
• HV awareness desirable.
• PASMA mobile tower erection desirable.
• Asbestos awareness desirable.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of maintenance tasks by E&I contractors.
• Perform electrical isolations and issue isolation certificates per policy.
• Prepare and review method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain stock of critical electrical equipment.
• Provide electrical engineering support and fault finding.
