Aviva is seeking a Pet Trading Manager to drive profitable growth across our Pet insurance channels. You’ll shape trading decisions using data, improve products, and deliver better customer outcomes, working with pricing, underwriting and operations.

You’ll be accountable for channel performance and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include driving trading performance through pricing and underwriting actions, owning outcomes like sales and retention, and defining a product roadmap

Qualifications

• Experience in general insurance, ideally personal lines.
• Strong commercial awareness with data-led decision making.
• Experience influencing or managing financial performance.
• Strong communication skills with a clear, simple style.
• Experience trading personal lines products direct or via price comparison websites.

Responsibilities

• Drive trading performance through clear plans, data-led pricing, and underwriting actions.
• Own key commercial outcomes, including sales, conversion, premium growth, and retention.
• Define and deliver a product roadmap, testing new ideas to optimise performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, integrating customer insights into decision-making.
• Manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support planning, budgeting, and business cases.
