Job summary

Healthy Pet Store in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced and confident Customer Supervisor to help lead our team on the shop floor, support and develop our Customer Advisors, and deliver exceptional experiences for customers and their pets.

This hands-on role requires leadership, a passion for pets, and a track record of managing performance, while maintaining high standards in service, store presentation, and operations.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory, team leader or management experience is desirable.
• Experience leading people, giving feedback and managing performance confidently.
• A passion for pets and a genuine interest in animal welfare.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, hands on approach and the ability to lead by example.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Previous retail experience is essential.
• Applicants should be a caregiver of a meat eating pet is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support Customer Advisors to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Deputise for the Store Manager when required.
• Build lasting relationships with customers through knowledgeable, honest advice.
• Help customers make informed choices about nutrition, enrichment and pet wellbeing.
• Drive high standards across customer service, store presentation and operational excellence.
• Support stock management, merchandising, deliveries and online order fulfilment.
• Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback and contribute towards achieving store KPIs.
• Resolve customer queries and concerns professionally and effectively.
