Job summary

Rentokil Initial is hiring a Pest Control Technician to cover Bedford and surrounding areas. No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided, with a basic salary of £27,669 per year and an expected OTE of £32,566 per year.

The role offers a full-time, permanent position with a standard 40-hour week (Mon-Fri) and potential for up to 48 hours later, plus benefits including a company vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone, and RI Rewards.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• GCSE Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and identify risks.
• Tackle pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offer advice to customers on maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Complete accurate reports after every visit.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional image.
