Job description

Vergo Pest Management Ltd is the largest independent national pest service provider in the UK today. Through continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a customer-facing Pest Control Technician to join our team in Glasgow. Whether you are experienced in the industry, looking for a change, or starting your career, we want to hear from you.

Our comprehensive range of pest management services includes rodent control, bird management, insect control, and wildlife management.

You will be at the forefront of our service for commercial, residential, and government properties, visiting customers to perform inspections, carry out treatments, and promote additional work when opportunities arise.

Our salary package is up to £29,500.00, based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, all technicians have the opportunity to increase their earnings by up to £6,000 through leads, commissions, bonus schemes, and incentives.

Experience in this field is preferred; however, we provide excellent training for inexperienced candidates and seek individuals who demonstrate initiative, the right attitude, and work ethic. Trainees start with a salary of £26,740.00, rising to £28,000.00 upon qualification.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Full UK Drivers Licence
2. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
3. Reside within a 40-mile radius of the advertised area
4. Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
5. Methodical and systematic approach to work
6. Comfortable using mobile phone apps
7. Excellent attention to detail
