Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Pest Control Technician to support ASDA Stores in North London. The role involves pest proofing, responding to stores' pest issues, and assisting the Pest Control Technician on a leading supermarket contract.

The salary ranges £35,626.69–£37,565.78 depending on postcode, with on-call shifts and overtime paid. Permanent, full-time, with pension and private healthcare benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering pest control in retail or distribution environments.
• Ability to perform pest proofing and remediation across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pest proofing and control at ASDA Stores and Distribution centres.
• Cover planned preventive maintenance visits for pest control.
• Respond to emergency call-outs from the ASDA Helpdesk.
• Complete reports and communicate with store colleagues and line manager.
• Carry out onsite training with ASDA colleagues.
• Maintain time sheets and mileage logs.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment.
• Obtain sign-off of completed works by ASDA.
• Attend required training courses.

Overview

Pest Control Technician – North London

Salary: £35,626.69 - £37,565.78 (including on call 1:4 + 11% or 15% added on to base salary dependent on postcode)

Contract: Permanent

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Support Pest Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve support to the Pest Control Technician when either proactive or reactive pest issues are identified within stores, supermarkets, depots and living sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pest proofing and prevent and/or control pest infestation at allocated ASDA Stores and Distribution centres.
• Cover any planned preventive maintenance (PPM) visits for pest control when required by the business and approved by the National Pest Control Manager or Pest Operations Manager.
• Respond promptly to genuine emergency call outs from the ASDA Helpdesk.
• Complete reports and communicate on a daily basis with store colleagues and line manager.
• Carry out onsite training with ASDA colleagues.
• Maintain accurate time sheets and mileage logs as required.
• Maintain and keep vehicle and equipment supplied in good working condition.
• Ensure sign off of completed works by Asda.
• Attend training courses as and where necessary to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical and business developments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Royal Society of Health Cert in Pest Control or British Pest Control Association Diploma Part 1 and 2.
• Bird proofing work.
• Fumigation services.
• General building/fabrication skills.

• £35,626.69 - £37,565.78 (including on call 1:4)
• 42.5 - 45 hour week (salary dependent on hours selected)
