Qualifications

Job description

TPF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Personal Tax Senior to join a well-renowned Top 20 chartered accountancy practice based in Maidstone, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established friendly team where you will be responsible for working with a varied portfolio of personal tax clients. This top 20 chartered accountancy practice is a growing and highly successful firm, offering excellent support and exposure to their staff. Responsibilities
  1. Manage a portfolio of clients, with responsibility for compliance work and identification of tax planning opportunities.
  2. Carry out tax work in accordance with the Firm’s procedures.
  3. Prepare Personal Tax Returns.
  4. Deal with enquiries and assist staff and Managers.
  5. Consider tax planning issues.
  6. Accept responsibility for a portfolio of clients and assist on client matters.
  7. Maintain a record of Tax Returns and ensure all Returns are filed on time.
  8. Communicate regularly with clients, HM Revenue & Customs, and third parties as required.
Requirements
  1. At least 3 years’ personal tax experience.
  2. Ideally ATT and/or ACA/CTA qualified.
  3. Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and background, negotiable.
  4. A highly competitive benefits package is also offered.
