An established industry player is seeking a skilled tax manager to join their respected private client tax team. Join a respected private client tax team specialising in advising UK and international HNWIs on all areas of their income and capital taxation. You’ll be an integral member of the team, performing a client-facing role, collaborating closely with well-known partners and liaising directly with third parties.
Your clients will include:
Many of the team’s clients are UK res non dom with multi-jurisdictional aspects to their affairs. Experience of advising on remittance, domicile and residence is therefore important.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of HNW clients as their key point of contact
- Undertaking personal tax planning projects on areas including CGT, IHT, property-related issues, use of trust structures, extraction of wealth from businesses etc
- Overseeing the annual tax compliance cycle
- Mentoring, managing and supporting junior team members
- Identifying new client relationships and assisting in business development initiatives
Ideal candidates will be CTA / ACA qualified, with extensive UK private client tax experience. Strong communication and client relationship management experience is also important.
The team is keen to support the incoming Manager with progression towards Senior Manager and Director grades. They offer hybrid working 2-3 days a week and foster a healthy work/life balance culture.
Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the region £63k - £73k + benefits. Ref 5058
