Job summary

Foxley Kingham is seeking a Personal Tax Manager to join the Luton office. You will manage a varied private client portfolio, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts and estates, ensuring high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory services.

You will be the main client contact, provide technical guidance, manage deadlines and support junior staff development, with a clear path for progression in a growing firm. Hybrid working and full study support are offered.

Qualifications

• CTA or ACA/ACCA qualification with significant personal tax & trust experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK personal tax, trusts and estate taxation.
• Experience managing a personal tax and trust client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of private clients including high-net-worth individuals, trusts and estates, ensuring high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory services.
• Act as main client contact, provide technical guidance, manage deadlines and support development of junior team members.
• Oversee delivery of personal tax and trust services and drive progression within the team.

Role and responsibilities

Due to continued growth, the business is looking for a Personal Tax Manager to join our team at our Luton based office.

• Successful candidate will be experienced of managing a varied portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates, and able to oversee the delivery of high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory services
• The role will involve acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing technical guidance, managing deadlines, and supporting the development of junior team members
• This is a key role within the firm, offering responsibility, client exposure, and opportunities for progression

Skills and experience:

Personal skills:

• Well-presented and professional

Experience:

• CTA qualified, or ACA / ACCA qualified with significant personal tax and trust experience
• Strong experience within a UK accountancy or tax practice
• Good technical knowledge of UK personal tax, trust, and estate taxation
• Experience managing a personal tax and trust client portfolio
• Experience supervising and developing junior staff

This is a full time position with 39.5 hours per week with salary range from £ 51,300 to £ 61,200 (depending on experience).
