Review personal tax returns prepared by junior staff.
Provide tax planning advice to individuals, owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth clients.
Advise on capital gains tax, inheritance tax and income tax matters.
Support Partners and Directors on complex advisory assignments.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
Identify tax planning opportunities across the client portfolio.
Assist with HMRC enquiries and correspondence.
Mentor and develop junior team members.
Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the tax team through business development and networking initiatives.
Previous experience within a personal tax role in an accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation.
Experience managing a client portfolio and handling client relationships.
Good understanding of capital gains tax, inheritance tax and self-assessment compliance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commercially aware with a proactive approach to delivering client solutions.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
A desire to develop into a Manager and senior leadership role over time.
Leicester-based office with hybrid working available.
