Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Personal Tax Accountant to develop expertise in personal tax with full study support towards ATT and CTA qualifications. Based in Wimborne, Dorset, the role offers varied client work and exposure to more complex tax matters.

You will build relationships with individuals, high-net-worth clients, sole traders and landlords, preparing Self Assessment returns and liaising with HMRC as you progress towards managing your own portfolio.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing Self Assessment Tax Returns.
• Knowledge of UK personal tax compliance.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence communicating with clients and HMRC.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach.
• Experience using tax/accountancy software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting Self Assessment Tax Returns for a varied portfolio.
• Helping clients with personal tax queries and providing practical advice.
• Gaining exposure to buy-to-let property, foreign income, residency and Capital Gains Tax.
• Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries.
• Keeping client records accurate and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Building trusted, long-term client relationships.
• Developing towards responsibility for your own portfolio.
