Personal Lines Insurance Account Handler

Personal Lines Insurance Handler - Stokesley - Office based position.

Are you looking to start your career in Personal Lines insurance or seeking the next step in your insurance career development?

Salary to £28,000 & Flex Benefits - 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, Health Insurance

Our client is a National Award-Winning Broker with over 200 offices across the UK.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking for a Personal Lines Insurance Handler.

Duties of the Personal Lines Insurance Handler
  1. Initially, you will provide sales and service for personal lines customers, converting quotes into new and additional business. As you gain more experience, our client will train you in Commercial classes to assist their business customers.
  2. Review customer policies and help retain business.
  3. Process all customer instructions for policy amendments.
  4. Record and manage customer leads using the CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics.
  5. Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities.
  6. Initiate proactive sales activity to create new business opportunities.
  7. Acquire and maintain knowledge of General Insurance products, as applicable to licenses.
  8. Spot opportunities to introduce customers to cross-sell products and provide referrals.
Requirements for the position
  • Professional, hardworking with an attention to detail and a 'Can Do’ attitude.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks.
  • A confident and effective communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to company systems.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE passes (grade 4 or C above, or equivalent), including Maths and English.
